Poetry Submissions

Poems may be submitted for possible publication in Presence by e-mailing them to the poetry editor: poetry@sdiworld.org.

Anyone may submit a poem. However here are a few criteria to follow.

 

• All poems must be submitted by e-mail, preferably by MS Word attachment.
• Write “Presence Poetry Submission” in the subject line.
• Poems may be no longer than 40 lines.
• Poems should pertain to a spiritual theme or should relate to spiritual direction. “Spiritual” encompasses more than we can define, and can include life's everyday realities, seen through the heart of Mystery.
• Poems may not have been previously published in any format.
• Poems may not be submitted to another journal until after they have been published in Presence. Rights revert back to the poet after publication.

Please include all of the following information with the poetry submission: 

 

• Name of Poet
• A brief bio of Poet
• Name of Poem
• Mailing address (including country)
• E-mail address
