Diane Millis, PhD is an educator, author, and spiritual companion based in Minneapolis, MN. Diane serves as the founder and director of the Journey Conversations Project, offering formation and training in contemplative practices and dialogue facilitation. She currently serves on the Presence Editorial Review Panel for Spiritual Directors International.
Michele C. Tamaren, MA is a Spiritual Director, life coach, writer, presenter and former special educator from Marblehead, MA. Michele mentors those of all faiths and is founder of the multi-religious Council for Spiritual Connection. In honor of her work in promoting interfaith harmony, Michele was awarded the 2010 Anti-Defamation League Leonard P. Zakim Humanitarian Award. In April of 2012 her second book, ExtraOrdinary: An End of Life Story Without End, will be published by Pearlsong Press in Nashville, TN. A spiritual memoir, ExtraOrdinary tells of the spiritual growth and healing of a remarkable 95-year-old man and those of many faiths who cared for him. Michele has presented this workshop for Spiritual Directors, nurses, chaplains, hospice and healthcare workers, and caretakers.
