Trinity College 125 Michigan Ave. NE, Washington, DC 20017 Spiritual Directors International is not the sponsor of the Pentecost conference, however, our participation is an experiment in outreach to people who would likely be interested in the ministry and service of spiritual direction. For many years, Sojourners has been calling people from across the United States to attend their annual mobilization around the time of Pentecost—to be a part of a movement to change the political landscape in the United States in order to overcome poverty. Thousands of faith-inspired people have been a part of the worship services, the advocacy trainings, and the visits to members of Congress. They have attended receptions on Capitol Hill and have marched through the streets of Washington, D.C., lifting up a prophetic voice for economic justice. In 2008, Sojourners is inviting several hundred people to come to Washington, D.C., from June 13-15 for a unique and meaningful experience where participants will get in-depth, practical training from Sojourners staff and organizers. Are you 30 years old or younger? You are one of Sojourners Emerging Leaders! Click here to visit the information page for Emerging Leaders.
